The topic of infomobility is tied more generally to territorial accessibility and is thus a function of geographic information and of mobility systems for both goods and people.

Following an agreement on infomobility between the Italian government, regions and autonomous local authorities, the Region of Tuscany approved the Regional Policy Document on Infomobility 2008-2010.

In this context, the LaMMA Consortium provides technical and scientific support to regional administration in defining geographical information-related products through the development of GIS and WEBGIS services based on standard formats and in line with Europe INSPIRE directives.
Thanks to the Meteo I-Mobility project, new infomobility services are currently being created and tested, designed both for the general public and for administrative bodies, based on weather data and forecasts.
