The 'derived themes' regard a series of databases (lithology, litho-technology, permeability, geomorphology) and are created through a simple reclassification of geological data, or by selecting and re-composing different information layers of geological, topographic and geomorphological data. 'Geological criticalities' refers to those databases regarding mainly landslides, and gives particular precedence to the ‘Landslides and Deposits Database’, which is rapidly becoming the reference dataset for landslide phenomena in Tuscany.

Finally, 'resources' refers to all those resources - such as underground waters, thermal and mineral waters, mineral resources, industrial and ornamental stone, and geothermal resources - included in specific databases and made available in the following pages.
